Our Choice of Activities

There is no lack of all-year-round activities. The region has a rich cultural heritage with many churches, chapels, castles and a cathedral. But the most spectacular vews are of the coast and the sea, views which change with every tide.

Sports lovers can meet up at the 18-hole golf course at Saint-Samson - - which is just 10 minutes from the hotel. The course, which is varied and balanced, was designed by the British architect, Hawtree. You can enjoy your favourite sport in the magical atmosphere of the Breton forests.

For families, Pleumeur-Bodou is a must : you can visit the Telecom Museum, the planetarium or the Gaulois Village where parents and children will see what life was like in ancient Gaul. You can round off the day with a stroll round the lake, the harbour or the old quarter of town or take part in the activities on offer at the Nautical Centre.

Places to explore a little further afield include  Bréhat Island, affectionately named ‘flower island’, or take a mini-cruise along the coastline of pink rocks at Ploumanac’h. The Seven Islands – Rouzic, les Costans, Malban, Bono, l’Ile aux Moines, l’Ile Plate and les Cerfs or Tomé Island are sure to surprise and enchant you.

You will find a supermarket, bakeries and souvenir shops near the hotel. There are also 12 restaurants along the seafront as well as a cinema, a mini-golf and the  Barrière Casino all within 50 metres.
